Chemical Stripping is a process designed to remove paint and other finishes and also to clean the underlying surface.

  • WHAT IS MEDIA BLASTING?

  • Media Blasting is the process of blasting an item with small particles of various abrasive substances at an extremely high velocity in order to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface and also remove surface contaminants 

  • What is Xpress CAPABLE of cleaning?

  • We can strip or media blast various shapes of steel, wrought iron, castings & forgings, copper, galvanized steel, die cast zing, aluminum and other materials.

  • HOW SOON WILL MY PRODUCT BE FINISHED?

Small items such as a fenders, doors, or wheels are usually a two day turnaround. Larger orders will be given a longer turn around time depending on the quantity. Each client is different in their needs so we recommend emailing or calling. Please see our contact us section for more information or see information below.

  • WHAT IS THE COST FOR CHEMICAL STRIPPING?

Our pricing is based on the amount of time spend to strip your items as well as the size & number of paint layers. Our team uses a small device that tests the thickness of the paint on the items we strip. Items can we quoted over the phone, via email or in person at our Phoenix location. 32nd Street & Broadway in Phoenix (Address 3402 E. Wier Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85040) If you would like a quote over the phone please make sure pictures are available for reference.

  • WHAT IS THE COST FOR MEDIA BLASTING?

$130 per hour is what is will cost to media blast. Not all items take the full hour this depends on how large your piece is & the quantity of items you bring in. 

  • WILL THE CHEMICAL DIP OR MEDIA BLASTING DAMAGE MY PRODUCT?

The specialized chemicals and media we use does not damage any kind of metal.
